Abstract

With the help of a linear pre-equalizer and a simplified multi-step-size blindly adaptive nonlinear post-equalizer based on the memory polynomial model, 56-Gb/s SSB-PAM4 C-band transmission over 100-km dispersion-uncompensated SSMF is experimentally demonstrated.
