Experimental demonstration of fully photonics based random number generation

Abstract

Combing laser chaos with photonic signal processing, we present a fully photonic method for physical random number generation, which can efficiently overcome the electronic bottleneck and has the potential to reach a 100 Gb/s real-time rate.
