Abstract
We report here a high-power 1.9 μm gas Raman amplifier using a hydrogen-filled hollow-core fiber. The maximum average power is 570 mW, to the best of our knowledge, which is the highest average power for such similar experiments. The maximum quantum efficiency is about 55.6%, and the corresponding slope efficiency is about 31.3%.
