Horseshoe-Shaped 16×16 Arrayed Waveguide Grating Router Based on SOI Platform

Abstract

We design and experimentally demonstrate a horseshoe-shaped 16 × 16 arrayed waveguide grating router with a channel spacing of 200 GHz based on SOI platform. The minimum insertion loss and the crosstalk are -3.5 dB and -16 dB, respectively.
