Photonic Generation of Continuous Pulse Based on Injection Locking

Abstract

By injection locking the first sideband of modulated light, the optical spectrum is broadened because of four-wave mixing (FWM) effect. As a result, continuous optical pulse with same frequency of modulating microwave is generated.
