Influence of preform structure on tensile strength and attenuation of reduced diameter PANDA PMF

Abstract

With the optimization of the preform structure, the 80μm cladding diameter PMF tensile strength and attenuation could be promoted, the tensile strength test value could reach 23.62 with the attenuation <0.35dB/km @1550nm.
