Abstract

Substantial enhancement of gain flatness along ~148.3 km Brillouin optical time-domain analysis (BOTDA) was demonstrated by tailored distributed Brillouin amplification (DBA), in which direct demodulation of injection-locked dual-bandwidths Brillouin pump was proposed.
