Thermal quenching effect on BAC-P in bismuth/erbium co-doped optical fibre

Abstract

The thermal quenching effect on spectroscopic properties of bismuth active center associated with phosphorus (BAC-P) is studied. The results indicate that thermal quenching has positive effect on BAC-P activation in bismuth-doped fibres.
