Experimental demonstration of two-section 1570-nm DFB lasers

Abstract

We demonstrated a two-section 1570-nm(L-band) wavelength distributed feedback laser, which has achieved above 55-dB side mode suppression ratio in a wide temperature range. And Offset-quantum-well scheme was used for the coupler section.
