Abstract
Semiconductor nanowires growth, optical and electrical properties will be discussed. Nanowire based lasers, THz detectors, solar cells, photoelectrochemial water splitting and use of nanowires of neuroscience applications will be discussed. Integration of nanowire lasers on various platforms for flexible electronics application will be presented. Future prospects of nanowire optoelectronic devices will be discussed.
