Sensing and Imaging with Microstructured Optical Fibers

Abstract

The unique optical and material properties of microstructured optical fibers provides new opportunities for sensing and imaging. Three current application-orientated projects at the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS, University of Adelaide) that are exploiting these unique properties will be reviewed.
