Tunable Lenses, Miniature Laser Speckle Reducers and their Applications to Innovative Optical Systems

Abstract

Tunable lenses enable high speed, compact and cost effective adjustment of optical power. In this talk, tunable lens technologies will be presented in view of their application to fields such as machine vision, laser processing and ophthalmology. The talk will also cover miniature laser speckle reducers developed on the same technological platform.
