Integrated Light Management as a Path to Miniaturizing Spectrometers

Abstract

In recent years there have been significant reductions in the size and cost of spectral sensing technologies. Ease of optical integration remains a significant barrier to entry for widespread use of these sensors. Fabricating light management features along the optical path into these devices provides an economical solution to simplify optical integration.
