Abstract

The structure of coded apertures determines the quality of the estimated images in compressive spectral imaging (CSI). CSI systems have used random black-unblock or random colored coded apertures. This paper proposes an optimization method for the design of colored coded apertures which exploits spatio-spectral correlations within spectral images.
