Abstract

Digital pre-distortion of five OFDM-based wired-wireless signals for compensation of directly-modulated PONs nonlinearity is demonstrated experimentally. This technique leads to EVM-compliant levels in all signals and to EVM improvements that reach 5.7dB in UWB signals.
