An OFDM-PON with non-preselected ONUs: dimensioning and experimental results

Abstract

An OFDM-PON with a simple centralized wavelength control of low-cost non-preselected independent ONU sources is presented, dimensioned, and tested experimentally. The rejection-ratio is reduced to less than 1% increasing the cost-effectiveness of the access network.
