Abstract

In this paper we present an efficient image rendering method to recover a complete image from multiple micro-images captured by a microlens array. Non-uniform illumination is successfully addressed by illumination normalization based on a background model. Micro-image fusion is further improved by taking into account the distance weighting. Experimental results demonstrate that high quality images can be produced by the proposed method.
