On pinhole size optimization in wavefront sensorless adaptive optics

Abstract

Simulations based on search algorithms were performed with the aim of optimizing wavefront sensorless adaptive optics parameters in modal wavefront correction systems. The study shows that the size of the pinhole must be equal to or smaller than the size of the Airy disc.
