A Computational Model for Phase Retrieval of Narrow-Band Chromatic Aberrations

Abstract

We present a selection of algorithms for modeling pupil-plane wavefronts and electric field propagation for phase retrieval on a narrowband system with significant chromatic aberrations, which presents computational challenges not seen in many other phase retrieval applications. A modal chromatic aberration model is discussed, along with Bluestein’s algorithm for efficient computation of wavelength-scaled Fraunhofer field propagations.
