Stable High Power Sub-50 fs Kerr-Lens Mode-Locked Yb:CaYAlO4 Laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a stable high-power Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:CaYAlO4 laser, delivering 49 fs pulses with central wavelength at 1032 nm. The average power is 1.1 W with root mean square fluctuation of 0.62% over 300 hours.
