Formation, Stability and Structure of Noise-Like Pulses in Passively Mode-Locked Fiber Lasers

Abstract

The generation of noise-like pulse consisting of stochastically varying solitons is analyzed. The mechanism of its stabilization is determined. The transformation of a stationary soliton into a noise-like pulse with increasing pumping is researched.
