Model and evaluation of face forward illumination for multimodal endoscopic probes

Abstract

Multimodal probes with microscopy capabilities can obtain high-resolution images of tissue without additional probes. Initial results of modeling and evaluation of the optical performance predict the possible feasibility of the multimodal system.
