In silico Evaluation of Thermal Skin Damage Caused by Picosecond Laser Irradiation

Abstract

An in silico method is proposed to evaluate thermal skin damage caused by picosecond laser irradiation. The results show the temperature rise and the thermal damage are noninferiority to a conventional nanosecond domain laser device.
