Reference target with synthesized A2E for visible-light OCT quantitative fundus autofluorescence imaging

Abstract

Retinal lipofuscin was quantified with respect to a customized fluorescent reference target consisting of synthesized A2E. The target was implemented into VIS-OCT-FAF as a reference for both OCT and FAF and successfully tested in vivo.
