Laser absorption sampling probe for temporally and spatially resolved combustion measurements

Abstract

A technique has been developed to measure concentrations of IR-active stable species in flame gases with temporal and spatial resolution using diode laser absorption spectroscopy. Such measurements are of current interest in combustion research.
