Abstract
Injection locking of cw lasers has been the subject of numerous theoretical and experimental investigations.1–3 The emphasis in previous work has been on single-wavelength operation. Multiline operation introduces additional constraints, which were addressed in this experimental program. Several new results were obtained including multiline injection locking phenomena, two-wavelength heterodyne phase control for injection locking, and a demonstration of reverse-wave suppression in a ring resonator by forward-wave injection control.
