Abstract
The study of turbulent combustion on a fundamental level requires detailed spatially resolved information on the instantaneous values of a number of scalar quantities acquired simultaneously. The goal of this study is to measure these quantities [single and joint probability density functions (pdf)] using nonperturbing experimental techniques in a relatively simple turbulent flame.
