Abstract

The microchannel spatial light modulator (MSLM)1 is a versatile, highly sensitive, optically addressed device being developed for low-light-level real-time optical information processing. In addition to real-time operation, it can be designed to exhibit simultaneously long-term (months) optical-information storage.
