Abstract
Two mobile DIAL systems for real-time pollutant concentration measurements have been realized. The characteristics are shown in Table I. The first system, with emission in the UV, visible, and near IR, uses Mie and Rayleigh scattering as reflectors. It has a 15-m spatial resolution. The second system, with emission In the IR (tunable in the 1.5-4-μm range), uses topographic targets as reflectors.
