Prism-tuning characteristics of a long-pulsed XeCl laser

Abstract

The increased number of cavity round trips from a long-pulsed laser intuitively suggests the possibility of narrower linewidth outputs for a given dispersive tuning element or chain of elements. The general expression given for a Brewster prism tuning chain with beam expander elements.
