Abstract

Random-modulation cw lidar (RM-cw lidar)1 is a new family of cw lidars, which uses digital-code pseudorandom modulation for obtaining the range resolution. Construction of a compact RM-cw lidar system, with an optical fiber to connect laser and lidar head, will be reported. This makes the system convenient to handle in field measurements.
