Tomographic Imagina of a supersonic jet

Abstract

We report on the first demonstration of optical tomography as a 2-D quantitative measurement tool for measurement of gas density. This is also the first high-resolution optical tomography measurement using an incoherent source in place of the higher power but more expensive laser sources used previously.
