Abstract

The amorphous magnetooptical recording medium is one of the most promising candidates for erasable optical recording.1 However, more improvements of the SNR and degradation due to magnetooptical film oxidation2 are necessary, in this study, we aimed to improve these factors by using a novel medium construction and Tb-Fe-Co ternary alloy films.
