Abstract
The use of techniques based on time-resolved laser fluorescence spectroscopy to analyze ocular fluorophores presents a number of potential advantages over current In vitro and in vivo techniques. Experiments demonstrating the vast potentials of time-resolved techniques are presented, design concepts for in vivo systems are outlined, and safety requirements are discussed.
