Measurements of increased XeF(B—X) laser efficiency at high electron-beam pump rates

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The effect of an increased electron-beam pump rate on the laser efficiency of XeF(B—X) has been measured as a function of temperature, gas mixture, and energy loading. Electron-beam pump rates up to 300 kW/cm3 at temperatures up to 460 K and energy loadings up to 190 J/liter were investigated.
