Abstract

Spectron will deliver a space qualified pulse Nd:YAG laser capable of simultaneous outputs at 1064, 532, and 355 nm for the laser transmitter module for the NASA Langley Research Center’s Lidar in-Space Technology Experiment (LITE). LITE is to measure atmospheric aerosol backscatter from the Space Transportation System.
