Abstract

Optical testability in a semiconductor laser has been widely studied since it has the capability of high-speed operation triggered by the optical input signal. The optical polarization bistability studied here means the one between the TE and TM modes which is induced by the injection of a TM signal, in this bistable operation, the polarization switching obtained is very fast.
