Resonance Raman scattering of the sodium molecule

Abstract

We observed a 5600-8200-Å resonance Raman scattering spectrum of the sodium molecule backward, we believe, for the first time from sodium vapor pumped by an 80-mW He-Ne 6328.2 Å laser using a novel prism reflecting optical path.
