Dynamic behavior of the picosecond photorefractive process in undoped GaAs

Abstract

There is an urgent need for materials or mechanisms in which high nonlinear polarization can be induced with short response and recovery times. Since GaAs as a photorefractive material has a fast response time, we thought that research into this effect would be productive.
