Abstract

Photochemotherapy with an hematoporphyrin derivative (HPD) is increasingly being used for the local treatment of malignant tumors. For clearer understanding and further development of the photodynamic therapy of malignant tumors, it is essential to study the micromechanics of its effect on the tumors.
