Electrooptically tuned, single frequency Nd:YAG laser

Abstract

By incorporating an electrooptic crystal into a compact single frequency Nd:YAG laser, fast continuous tuning of the Nd:YAG laser has been achieved. The laser consisted of a 1-mm long Nd:YAG crystal, a 3-mm long LiTaO3 crystal, and a 5-cm radius output coupler (Fig. 1).
