Abstract

A number of excellent studies on optical neural network systems for image processing have been carried out in the last decade. However, since some problems on the resolution ability of spatial light modulators and complex electronic connections involved in the backpropagation loops are still significant, it is hard to find successful reports of an optical neural network system for the practical fields of science or industry.
