Abstract

The use of soliton like pulses in all-optical switching fiber based devices has been successfully demonstrated recently.^1,2 Until now, theory and experiments have concentrated on the possibility of self-switching or routing of a single pulse between two output ports by ways of varying its peak power.^1–3
