Achromatic multibeam coupling in photorefractive crystals

Abstract

Light-induced volume holograms in photorefractive crystals have found many applications. These include beam coupling, image amplification, optical computing, and others. Although these crystals have very low power requirements for producing large volume gratings, the source used to create the grating must have a high degree of temporal coherence.
