Continuous B →X Rare Gas Halide Fluorescence Using DC Discharge Excitation

Abstract

For the first time, efficient, continuous (B →X) fluorescence has been obtained at the KrCl, KrF, XeCl and XeF wavelengths using high pressure, longitudinal DC electrical excitation at discharge currents up to 1 A.
