Abstract
The dynamic behavior of a class B laser1 with optoelectronic delayed feedback is ruled by two control parameters, namely the low-frequency-loop gain B and the delay τ.2 For suitable values |B| < 1, the laser output intensity undergoes sinusoidal oscillations at the frequency f (close to the relaxation oscillation frequency Ω) provided by a linear stability analysis for the laser above threshold (i.e., in the gigahertz range for a single-mode semiconductor laser).2
