High-power beam steering using Brillouin-induced four-wave mixing

Abstract

Four-wave mixing in a Brillouin medium can be used to phase conjugate weak laser pulses with a high reflection coefficient.1 This makes Brillouin induced four-mixing (BIFWM) an attractive technique for performing high power beam steering.
