Abstract
Reconfigurable optical interconnection capable of partial or full broadcasting plays a key role in optical computing and optical neural networks. The interconnection can be. implemented using an optical matrix-vector multiplication scheme.1 The conventional approach, however, suffers an intrinsic fanout energy loss.1,2 We previously developed a novel interconnection technique that uses photorefractive dynamic holograms to eliminate the fanout energy loss.3
