Abstract

We have been developing a multidither adaptive optical system (MAOS) that corrects phase errors induced in an optical beam propagating through distorted optics or a turbulent atmosphere. In this paper, the MAOS with a new deformable mirror is described. Experimental results for correction of phase errors of the CO2 laser beam are also discussed.
