Abstract

We present a Ti:Al2O3-based regenerative amplifier pumped by a Q-switched Nd:YLF laser which is used to amplify femtosecond pulses from a self-mode- locked Ti:Al2Ô, oscillator at repetition rates up to 7.2 kHz. To fully exploit the storage capability of Ti:Al2O3 we used chirped pulse amplification.1
